hey guys this is going to be a short update. I'm using the hotel's only computer. the library was closed when i went by. so Ive made to it mile 624.9! since my last update i had a friend come and hike with me for a week. she didn't realize how hard this has been. so she got a little taste. i got driven of the side of roger mountain because of a snow storm and the next day it was 60 degrees out. i got to see the wild ponies of Grayson highland. that was really cool and great hiking. the views after that have been few and far between. The forest has grown in and now I'm walking in a green tunnel all day. the tunnel is nice because it keeps the sun off me but i cant see jack. the weather has been like home one day its 80 and the next its in the 30-40's at night! this morning it was hailing! what is up with that? well anyway my iphone died and i had to send it home. my brother got it fixed for me . thanks Jon! and i should have it back by Wednesday. I'm in such a same town you cant overnight mail here. well anyways take care and talk to you guys soon!

What Christina and Kevin said! I would have loved to have seen those ponies - must have been an awesome experience. Snow flurries here all day yesterday and the woodstove has come out of summer retirement once again. Safe trekking!
