Heard about this surf spot and came to check it out but nothin was happenin. We decided to walk down around the point to a secluded private little beach. We swam and hung out for a while, then went back to the van.
We met a guy named john, who owned this big beautiful house we were parked in front of. We talked to him for quite a while and ended up having dinner with him and his boxer dog biscuit, which was the sweetest mean looking dog I´ve ever met. Then we got one of the best nights of sleep we´ve had in a while. It was quiet, no dogs barking, no street parties at 1 am, no roosters crowing.
We applied for a few volunteer jobs on organic farms, and we just found out we got accepted to this one called the Bosque Village. It sits on 80 acres and has over 100 gardens, along with a sauna, a guesthouse, art studios and classes, a telescope, and solar HOT WATER! We´re thinking about doing this for a couple weeks and seeing how it goes, and maybe staying longer. We´re both really excited to get off the road, hang out in one place, and meet some people.

So excited to hear about the volunteer work! I know you both were really looking forward to it. My tan is slowly fading...what a bummer. See you in Oaxaca????
