In Copenhagen you are truly back in Central Europe. This is a sophisticated capital with a long history, definitely worth an extended stay and detailed exploration. Having seen it a few times before we concentrate on highlights, my friend on a bit of shopping and I on the Ny Carlsberg Glyptothek with its wonderful collection of Greek and Roman and neo classic art, where I keep snapping away for my ever growing collection of statue pictures.

At Gedser we have to kill two hours because we did not check the departure times of the ferry to Rostock. But this is not a difficult exercise in glittering sunlight, so we take a stroll on the shore and a nap in the warm afternoon sun.
There ferry ride is smooth this time. Warnemünde greets us with warm afternoon light. As the night falls we are back in Berlin, after 13 days and 6500 km.
It was a memorable journey. Done that. For me it definitely was a trip worth taking, opening sights and some insights on this remote but beautiful corner of Europe.
