. So off to Venice. It's worked out so far, now and I have ticket out of here on Friday to Florence. No surprise there. I just need a place to when I get there. Oh, the joys of traveling. From what I've seen of Venice it looks cool. Lots of confusing bridges and little souvenir shops, and the church bells are ringing right now of course. Always church bells. I am going to be so lost tomorrow. At least I have a map now. Crazy!! Oh yeah and today is All Saints Day. A big holiday I guess so that would explain the ridiculous train ride. Just found that out, but good to know Italian trains aren't always hell like that. Anyways, gotta run, let you know more about Venice tomorrow once I see some of it. I am off to find inexpensive food. And if that doesn't take the rest of the trip then I'll talk to you tomorrow. Ciao!
Hehe, I'm in VENICE!!! AHHH! I'm so excited. Just got here a while ago on a hellish train ride. I only have a few minutes on the net here at my place, but I will tell you about it later. This will be short. Made it to the train station in just over 6 hours, and half found the right way to the hostel. I gave up on my written directions and asked a passing priest the way to the church I was supposed to cross a bridge near. Yay! Found the church but didn't need to cross the bridge because I followed the priest another way. Whatever, I found it in less than 10 minutes. The place is alright, nothing fancy but it's only €21 a night which isn't as much as I have paid, and not bad considering it's Venice. It's been raining all day so it's not very nice weather and it might stay crappy for the 3 nights I am here, but what can you do. I really wanted to come, and it wasn't planned at all. Got a bed a few nights ago and then the ticket. I had Italy pretty much planned out as far as where I was going to visit, and I was kind of bored of it
