I still don't really realize that I have left China behind me for good! Yesterday morning I made my way to the airport in a snow covered Beijing, a few hours later I arrived in Phonm Penh where it had 32C at 11 p.m.!
I've had no time to really plan this trip, because I was sooo busy the last weeks in China. But Cambodia seems to be an easy country to travel in and I had no issues with transportation or finding a place to stay.
The people are really nice, and I like the atmosphere! I spent the first day exploring the city on foot, visiting the palace and the national museum, and went ahead planning and booking the next couple of days. I'll spend another day in Phonm Penh to visit the museum of the PolPot regime horrors and the killing fields, and then I'll go to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat!
