I drove around the Green Bay area this morning. It's a pretty nice area. I checked out the courthouse, Lambeau Field, Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral, Saint Johns, and Saint Willebrord. I was pretty awesome because it was Sunday, no one was out, so I was able to take all my pictures in an hour's time. I drove up to Cave Point County Park. I thought it was up the peninsula in Baileys Harbor. I ended up driving 10 miles past it so I had to back track. The park is actually right near Whitefish Dunes, however I heard Whitefish is not really worth going to, especially if you've been to Sleeping Bear...it doesn't compare! Most of the reviews say that Cave Point County Park is a whole lot better...and it was! It is so cool because the park consists of these cool cliffs on the water. There are no guard rails keeping you from falling right over into the water!!! It makes the experience that much more intense! There were a lot of people kayaking (which is probably the best way to see it) and there were people jumping off the rocks into the water (at some points the water must be deep). This is a definite MUST SEE if you are in the Green Bay area! I tried to go to another park, High Cliff Park, except I ran into 2 road closings along the way. Which makes me realize, I ran into a decent amount of road closings up there.......not just road blocks with detours.....but actual like "this road is closed unless your house is down here." And there were no detours set up!!!! It was kinda like hey this road is closed find your own way around!!

When I actually made it back to the Highway I had wasted about 2 hours and I don't like wasting time like that!!! I headed down towards Milwaukee, stopping in Sheboygan along the way. To be honest, the only reason I stopped is because I like the name of the town....and it definitely was not worth stopping at. There's not much to do and it's a little run down. I stopped at 2 different churches and then continued on towards Milwaukee. There was road work on the highway that cut it down to one open lane, so traffic was backed up for about 5 miles. I finally made it to Milwaukee! I drove around the city for a little bit. I drove by the Pabst Mansion (PBR beer), went by the Horticulture Conservatory domes (but they were closed), went by Saint Johns Cathedral, and drove by Miller Park. I got a tip from TripAdvisor that there was a nice Greek Orthodox church not far away in Wauwatosa. Big mistake!!! This area is SO GHETTO! I felt really unsafe and would not recommend going here AT ALL! And the church was definitely not worth the drive out. I didn't even want to get out of my car to take pictures, that's how unsafe I felt. After wasting that time, I drove back to Milwaukee a little more. I actually like the city a lot. There are lots of tall buildings and a very cool modern art museum right on the water. I would come back and visit Milwaukee but only to stay right in the city and hang out.

I decided to leave and head towards Madison and stayed at the McGoverns Motel in Sun Prarie.
