It's raining outside today (actually it's not today but tomorrow, the 17th), beautiful day for travelobloging! Today (actually yesterday) I went to Glenelg, a small village with a nice promenade along the coast. You reach it with a 30 minutes train, the vintage one if you are lucky, from the center of Adelaide. Some of the houses on the coast, obviously belonged to wealthy Adelaindians, were interesting too.
Other news. I started a bit of socializing here to lift the spirits up a bit, playing pool and chess. Good fun. Tomorrow it's a 3 days tour to Kangaroo island, which can be a disaster if it rains and for later I am planning to rent a car to drive the famous Great Ocean Road. Money is not an issue for this kind of experience, do I'll go for a super powerful Hundai Getz with the monster engine of 1.3 liters, manual transmission, air conditioning, CD player and power steering.

Be very, very careful!
Remarkable how you've picked up Adelaide's pulse, maybe because your from out of town. What you describe in your first photo, does actually happen in Adelaide.

Just in case those rainy days continue, some reading material
