I caught the shuttle to the airport. The driver was an elderly guy who was very friendly so the 15 minute journey was an interesting one. I got a nice surprise when I checked in my suitcase. I had exceeded the weight limit for domestic flights (not international though) and I had to pay a $25 surcharge. That will happen everywhere I go now I suppose. Unless as I hand over some of the gifts that I've brought I get moving down the scale. The flight to Dallas Fort Worth was a smooth one. I spent most of it writing up my notes from yesterday's meeting. On arrival I made sure that my (heavy) suitcase was going to be forwarded to my next flight which was supposed to be in about an hour. It was. The flight was eventually delayed by about an hour. I gave Ray at the Louisiana DSS a call just to let him know that I was on my way and he said that he would arrange for a few of his people to meet me later for dinner and a few drinks. Next was just waiting for my connection .................
