here we were contemplating the current collapse of the economy along with our ever diminishing budget, but at least we made some plans for the next stage........

algonquin park

we hired another car to travel to a 7800sq km forest with cliff top views, streams and lakes.  it was a beautiful area wich we stayed in overnight on one of the many lake side camping grounds.   sleep was more awkward in this car but it was nice to wake up at dawn to see and capture the mist rising from the still waters and early morning reflections of the forest.  all the better quality pics being reserved for later viewing.

we met the shadows up on a cliff side, they were well and sent there best.
we also found this stone figurerine of either an angel or devil child but i thought it looked very much like 'em'......so it must of been an angel!

Em here - yes, Algonquin really was super. So much wonderful scenery and so great to then be in the heart of it by staying at the campsite.   Oh I love to go to a makeshift loo with the thought that a grizzly bear will meet me outside!!  You'll all be pleased to know that I was on my best behaviour sleeping in the car this time round.
It was very peaceful and romantic doing a 5km walk at 8am with just each other and the wonderful backdrop nature provided.
I think Matt was pleased to get behind the wheel again and I adopted the role of navigator once more - think I came in useful as we headed home against the friday thanksgiving traffic.  Who said girls can't read maps hey?!

The weather here has got back to being sunny - at least short term, the flip flops are very pleased!
Must mention 'Nuit Blanche' the all night art exhibition we went to in Toronto from 7pm-5am (we didn't last that long though!)  Toronto was packed with people wanting to see moving exhibitions on buildings, street corners, zombies in the woods!! a real experience.

I also completely forgot to mention last time, my day trip adventure. Whilst Matt was occupied in the 'casino' I headed to Niagara-by-the-Lake a real Stratford-upon-Avon of a place.   Very pretty, quaint and with lots of gorgeous shops. There are 3 theatres there and so I got a last minute ticket to see the matinee of
'An Inspector Calls' (Kathryn & Bella - remember from school!) It was great to be in a theatre again, last saw that play by the National Theatre - I was in my element.
Love to all.
