niagara update......

all is going well in niagara but the episode shortly comes to an end.  the hotel has been comfortable, notably more for some!  i had time for a swim here and there.
met some good people out here originating from different parts of the world.  they were always happy to help and called me the englishman!  not easy adjusting to different life style but felt part of a family unit quite soon and enjoyed the time spent here.  red 32 never came up unfortunately but the dream goes on.  emma's seen most of niagara but we did have time today to journey down to the gorge and see the class 6 rapids and whirlpool.  looked amazing and good to get some more shots despite deteriorating weather conditions.....a bit colder and wet.

Yes, Matt has kept me in the manner to which I am accustomed!!   I have enjoyed all the natural wonder and commercial tat that Niagara has to offer.  I also enjoyed the best of the weather and as we head into Autumn proper, I now face the prospect of having to wear socks!
Thoroughly enjoyed the nature trail and rapids - yes they were rather!
As Matt hangs up his boots, I'm considering grabbing my feather boa and joining the chorus line in the casino show!

End of the Falls!
Obviously had a great time at Niagra, especially having time to see things most visitors don't. Those line-dancing lessons should come in handy for the chorus line Emma!
Yet another experience. x

Great Yarmouth
Just got back, phew!

I am gravely concerned that Niagra is like Yarmouth, I'm sorry but it must be horrible. Do people walk round Niagra with T shirts on in the freezing cold there too? Do Niagrians (?) also have webbed feet?

Norwich was lovely! Tried looking out for Budfox (man with tin foil on head) or the lovely Jane, but nowt, not even in the mustard shop!

Anyway, can't wait to see where your off to next. I have no idea of you itinerary which makes the blog even better for me, like Coronation Street!!!

Take care you two XxX

Re: Great Yarmouth
You are looking in the wrong place. I reside in London where tinfoil hats are all the rage amongst the mentally impaired :-D

Class 6 Markets
Tell you what, I reckon going down those rapids would be easier to navigate than the financial markets at the moment. The Dow plunged 600 in a little over 5 minutes Friday. Man it sure has been hairy!! Its doom and gloom everywhere, lets all just keep our fingers crossed that it isnt the end of fiat currency system that is at the heart of our financial system. Even more bad news, alas the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is out of action until April'09. So will have to wait until then for either evidence of the Higgs Boson or a new theory to mesh particle physics together.
Hope you guys are fine and dandy and I am just relieved to see that you did escape the yellow jelly monster and lived to tell the tale. Until the next time this is budfox saying over and out.
