To save any more embarrassment on the celebrity guesses we can conclude that they are: e. bryan adams (centre of pic) f. micheal j fox (far left near the bush). g. sigourney weaver (correctly guessed)

there is an update on the work proceedings.......we have both applied for positions and wait to hear back.  i have had a response from a photography company (blacks) and they called me in for an interview.....all went very well, they did say i was over qualified but spoke of a managerial position.  went away very pleased, they said they
would be in touch.  email came through yesterday saying they would like to offer me a position.... fantastic!!..........there is however still a number of legalities involved to allow us to work here, which must be followed through.  its not made easy for anyone taking the correct routes in life.

inbetween time we have been out and about and like it hear very much, toronto is similar to london but at half the pace.

Em - Yes, we continue to strive for work - which seems to be plentiful here in Toronto, unfortunately there's lots of red tape too!!
I instantly felt at home in Toronto, it has a relaxed feel about it, the people are very polite and not so 'hyped' as the Americans.
There is so much going on - lots of theatre stuff, muscial events, festivals, street parties - my kind of place.
I really want to see a baseball game too - Bluejays are the local team.
Had a great day out visited 'the urban beach' (see pic of Matt) at the edge of the city, great idea.
We took the ferry to Toronto Island - a fascinating place. Also a great way to look back at Toronto city.
Matt is embracing using the camera again and I'm back with my head in the lonelyplanet guide - we're both in our element!
We are also enjoying travelling on the 'street cars' - trams to us.

We are in a new home - for two months, which gives us breathing space. It's on the 3rd floor, very light, sunny and feels like home.
The owner, Bibi, is mad as a hatter - talks incessantly and at about 100 decebels, her husband is quiet and unassuming. (Like Mr & Mrs Bennet in Pride & Prejudice!!)
There are some other 'lodgers' all with interesting tales to tell.
It's like being back at my landladys when I first moved to London and our room is like my last year Uni room at the 'circus' in Bath.

A Pilgrims tale, that can't be told....
Good news about the job front. I hope it works out for you. Maybe you joking about not coming back will materialise sooner than you thought. Keep us posted how the red tape pans out.
Pity I cant tell you about my 'special' weekend but that official secrets act means its on a need to know basis only, and you just don't have clearence :-)
