we got taken out for drinks at 'sea breeze' at elbow beach then on to dinner at 'silk', a thai resturant overlooking front street. moving on later to 'the pickled onion', a cool bar/club for more drinks......really great night
Em - Ian & Susie treated us to a really super night out in Bermuda. The bar by the beach edge was idyllic and the meal on the balcony was gorgeous. So great to sit and chat together. We sampled the local drink 'dark & stormy' - yes it was!  By the time we got to the pub, Matt & I were ready for a dance.

i opted for an early morning game of tennis with Ian, took a while to find some form but started to get the hang of it at a 3 sets to love deficit.  good fun and had a cool off straight in the sea, this was also entertaining...some real big waves.  Ian powered past them and braved it, followed by me after biding my time.  funny story...... ian couldnt find his sun glasses when we got to the beach but found them after a short search.  I then told the story of not buying expensive sunglasses anymore due to losing or breaking them.  still we made our way in to the monster waves with them on! Yep in comes a big wave, the ones that drag you out first and then rolls right in front of you, i stood and prayed as am dragged off and beneath the surface, mouth and nose full of sea,  Ian that little bit further out holding steady.  I shouted out 'thats the shades gone' and recovered lying on the beach  Ian makes his way in, at this point another one of those random big waves comes again and bowls him over and yep thats the shades gone.

the last day we spent relaxing and had a thoroughly good time, managed to get a few good pics, some of which may end up as merchandise.

Em - Visited the old town of St Georges, great little place. Then visted a wonderful old church, fort and secluded beach area of tobacco.
Matt was in the stocks too - but guess which picture he decided to put on the blog!!
Saw a massive, run down hotel and speculated what was to happen to it.
Matt cursed as the next day newspaper headline showed the building being blown up - a picture opportunity missed.

Em - Spent a fun evening at Dockyard, caught the ferry over and then watched some good entertainment, including a really great juggler.
Felt like judges on Britains got talent!

Last of the sun?
Good to read some more of your exploits and to see you're still enjoying yourselves. I keep getting snippets from Mat on email so just wanted to say hi to Em and that I am still reading the blog. Weather here is getting worse on a daily basis, the housing market is going down the tubes, sterling is getting smashed against all the major crosses, and the papers are full of doom and gloom. It all seemed to coincide with when you left the country. I never new your jolly disposition could affect a nation so badly. Get yourselves home pronto!
