Where I stayed
The ferry ride went pretty smoothly, it was a huge cruise ship-like ferry this time, so not nearly as bumpy! Maria and I took over a corner at the front of the ship, where we each lay across two chairs in front of a tv and slept most of the way. Other people, from the sounds of it, stuck together, and had quite an interesting trip, from old ladies yelling and single shoes being stolen... Yeah I'm glad we sat where we did!
After the ferry ride, it was just a long ass day of driving back to London. We drove through Wales, which looked beautiful, from what I saw! Watched The Hangover and Michael Collins on the bus tv, and did quite a lot of sleeping, as it was a pretty big night for some people the night before
Our only stop was at a rest stop somewhere in England for a meal that was not quite lunch and not quite supper. I had KFC, against my better judgement, but it was yummy. It was nice to move around after such a long journey!
On the way back to London we listened to the day song for the last time, as well as a playlist Bridget had created for us, to sum up the tour. It was awesome. I still have most of those songs on my ipod, played pretty commonly!
Back to London, we arrived at the Royal National and unloaded our bags, got our rooms, and met up at the London pub below the hotel. It was a big huge goodbye party, as most people left the next morning. There were tears and there was laughter, it was great. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone though, and I do mean everyone! I miss everyone to death (but am glad for Facebook for helping us stay in touch!).
