Where I stayed

This morning we left Dublin to drive up to Northern Ireland, to Belfast in particular. We went on a city tour by bus again, which could have (and should have) been very informative, but the lady doing the tour was really dry, and didn't really want to talk about the troubles. She just made it fairly boring, which was a disappointment. Most people ended up sleeping through it. I don't think I did though...
After Belfast, we drove to the Giant's Causeway, which was the coolest place we visited on this tour, in my opinion. It's a huge rock formation on the coast, made up of all mostly hexagonal rock columns with a great old legend to it (about Finn McCool), and it's just fun to hop and jump around it all! Plus, it's right on the ocean, which is always a plus for me! I'm surprised I didn't injure myself on it somehow though, seeing as I'm not the most graceful being on the planet...
After the Causeway, we drove further to (London)Derry (the name differs depending on whether you ask a Catholic or a Protestant). We weren't staying near the city centre tonight, so we all just stuck around the hotel. The hotel restaurant had a ridiculous wait for a table, but the old-style looking pub just around the corner didn't at all, so most of us ate in there. There was a group of about 5 of us that stayed until the bar closed at about 12:30 or 1, which was unusual! Normally I'm the first to bed, not the last! But it was fun, we just talked over drinks until we got kicked out and went to our respective rooms.
