While Belize itself is nothing much to write home about, we had a cool day just outside of San Ignacio tube rafting in beautiful clear water through a huge cave system. We had to hike into the jungle for about an hour, then floated all the way back down the river for 2 hours, taking on a few rapids and waterfalls along the way. Great fun, and only a few bumps and bruises to report - bloody hard things to steer, tubes :-)
