Saturday we took a two hour train ride though beautiful Bavaria!  The German landscape was absolutely breathtaking, I didn't even notice that we were going up into the mountains.

Through the trees we caught a glimpse of Neuschwanstein Castle, the same castle that Walt Disney modeled his castle after!! We enjoyed traditional German bratwurst with the tour group before hiking up into the mountains.  The entire semester I've been very lucky with beautiful weather and it was no exception that weekend.  In an area that rained everyday that week, we had a beautiful, clear view of Barvaria.  The castle was built for King Ludwig II, but he passed away before it could be completed thus no one actually resided in it.
