Where I stayed
Home! At least some of us...
Storms over Miami can have a huge ripple effect on whether flights go or not. Our flight was canceled yesterday morning, but 4 of us were able to get to Miami on a later flight. Once we got to Miami, we were blessed by another late plane from the storm. Dale, Bill, Bob and I made it to Miami, and made our connections home...but all of us without our luggage. I got home about 4:00am. I received a call this morning that my luggage should be delivered by 4pm today. The rest of the team should be on their way, and be home late this afternoon or evening.
Since our trip is really over, I won't go long, but wanted to share some of the videos, and a few other pictures from our trip. The first video is "our" family standing in front of their new house, telling us a few things about them, and the joy they feel about the new house. The others are a hodge-podge of different things from the trip. The others are various scenes from the trip including video of our head mason Rafael, who is a Pastor, talking about how we all have the same God. There is a video of "language lessons" of Usbaldo and I working on the word "trowel" (English) and "Cuchara" Spanish. There are also a number of other Volcano videos showing how hot the lava holes were, and a couple small eruptions from the main crater.
Thank you for following us, and for all the messages. As of this message, we have had over 960 visits to the blog.
Thank you,
Steve
