Where I stayed
Ponta Negro and Praia Pipa
Mammoth coach journies (on go for 20hours!!) from Jeri to Fortaleza and then straight onto Natal (5.30am arrival).
Good vibe in Ponta Negra (Natal)...nice beach , made the journey worthwhile. Spent the day surfing (almost pro´s now!!) we opted to take a somewhat touristic excursion through the sand dunes in a beach buggy!! Wicked fun, slightly tainted by the italian lady we were with getting bitten by a little monkey! (the litte blighter in the pictures!!)
Two days was enough for rest and recovery and soon we went back on the road to the much recommended Praia Pipa to the south of Natal.
Pipa lived up to all our expectations and more...with one of the best beaches so far. Quaint surf town with seven unique beaches, one of which a spectacular dolphin hideout, where we were amazed to see the dolphins swimming within metres of where we stood in the surf. Memories that we will cherish.
