Day #1
Arrived at dark during the evening of the 6th, yet my mom, dad and I headed out to explore the ocean in the darkness. Our hostel was only 4 blocks from the coast so we took a nice stroll under the stars to find the beach in complete darkness. Feeling a little weary of any cliffs we might stumble on, we decided to wait for daylight to explore this new terrain. I ran around and talked my parents into stopping at the park for a little play time. They were more than obliged as they felt I needed to de-energize as the evening grew late.
As we came back to our private room at the hostel, I practiced my balance on my new skateboard for an hour and a half.
Day #2
Mom and I woke early and took advantage of the pancakes and eggs the hostel offered to their guests. We filled our bellies then headed out to the back lawn area and enjoyed the view of the river. Mom obliged me by playing soccer with a volleyball. Soon dad was awake, and we...............
