G'day!!

Well after a very very long flight, I eventually arrived n sydney at around 8pm wednesday night. My Godmother, Belinder, very kindly met me at the airport, who i have been staying with for the past two days. They live about 40mins from the centre of the city in a lovely place called Grosvenor Ridge in Wahroonga (and don't ask how i pronounce it coz i haevnt got a clue!)

On Thursday morning I managed to get into sydney, without getting lost, which is a miracle!!!! I walked down from Wynyard station into the 'circular key' which is where all the harbour cruises depart from and booked myself on the 'Explorer
Harbour' tour taking me down passed the opera house to Watson's Bay and then to a zoo and then onto the Darling Harbour. I managed to get some excellent shots of the harbour etc... as the sun was setting as I was on the boat which was amazing! ( the sun sets really early here around 5pm ad by 5.30 its already dark)

The aussie's though seem to go around in trousers, with scarves, thick jumpers and i even saw one wearing a polo neck!!!!! (They are *M.A.D*) So i stuck out like a saw thumb wearing my t-shirt and skirt!! Thebus driver this morning even asked me if i was cold, wearign what i was so i just said I am from England.. this weather is hot to me (22C)!!

I went on the Bridge climb this morning which was AMAZING! It took quite a while to do (around 3 and a half hrs) but was so worth it! Camera's etc.. are not allowed up on the bridge for safelty reasons but the views were spectacular so it wa a pitty i could take some pic's to show you lot back home! It was a lovely morning to climb the bridge - total clear blue skys - it was so clear that you could even see the beginnings of the blue mountains in the distance as well as the Olimpic Games park! I am hopefully going to go and visit the Blue mountains when I return from New Zealand in a few weeks time as there are loads of day trips from sydney that you can do!

Sydney is an AMAZING place that I could easily see myself staying for longer than a few days! Its so much nice than London but its quite modern in comparision, with loads of tall modern sky scrappers etc....

Off to New Zealand tomorrow which I am really looking forward to! Gonna go hit the shops now so speak to ya all soon, and email me when you can,
Loads of love vicky xx
