It has been very hard to leave Mayan Ranch but i managed to see Claire who has been so nice to me whilst here at the ranch I will miss her. So i was driving back in my hire car which was a lovely sporty number i got a taxi back to San Antonio to my next place of accommodation The Historic Menger Hotel which takes up an entire block in a historic city.

Arriving late afternoon, i took a stroll along the river walk being man made i was a little disappointed however, the vast amount of cafes and restaurants gave me a difficult choice to make. Later on in the evening i went along the Alamo and sat pondering about my journey so far in America and to me it feels like i am home, the hospitality is so welcoming.
