Day 14 - The Strip & Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon was spectacular...a little bumpy in the helicopter due to winds off Lake Mead though. We landed at the bottom of the west rim (I think) & flew over into Colorado. We had views of Lake Mead, the Colorado River, Hoover Dam & Boulder City along the way.
In the afternoon we walked the strip venturing into the Ballagio for Ghostbuster's Pokies. We also found M&Ms' World & spent way too long in there trying to decide whether we wanted personalised M&Ms!
Bailes, Greenie, Blake & Brooke headed out on the hop on hop bus for the day & yes you guessed it ended up at another outlet shopping centre & bought more shoes!
We all spent the evening touring the strip in a limo! We ventured out to the old Vegas (Fremont St) where Bailes & Megs did this skyline flying fox thing. We saw the pawn shop & wedding chapel from the hangover along the way. There are so many people getting married in Vegas today for 12/12/12...we even witnessed an Elvis ceremony at the Vegas sign! Stops along the way included the volcano show at the Mirage & the water show at the Ballagio.
