This morning I decided to take a walk along Vancouver's only beach, along English Bay. A quarter of the way through I saw a bunch of police cars and some camera crew along a portion of the beach. As I got closer to them I was stopped by the police and asked to go around. I asked the cop what was happening and why they were out there. It turned out someone had found dynamite on the beach! After someone reported it, the police finally came out and blocked off that portion of the beach to wait for the bomb squad to arrive. Pretty exciting stuff, aye? Who would had thought Canada would ever get any bomb scares? And I almost walked along right next to it!
