Another early start this morning, as we were off to Cape Tribulation and the rainforest. Our guide for the day was Neville, who was possibly the most Australian man in the world!
I couldn't possibly do the day's tour justice here, as it was spectacular, but the highlights included:
The huge pieces of granite that were as smooth as marbles in Mossman Gorge.
The Crocs and a well hidden tree snake on the Daintree River.
Swimming in the creek and diving through a waterfall at Dinosaur Falls (The 2 Aussies with us poofed out, this was for hard guys only).
Lunch and a presentation on forest fruits (actually very interesting) at the Daintree Tea Rooms.
The Jurassic Park-esque scenary at Cape Tribulation, including 4-5 metre trees that only grow 1 metre every 100 years.
The pictures really do tell the story much better this time!
