Situated right on the coast this area reminds me of White Rock. It has a water front and fish and chips and a little market. Plus all kinds of little coffee shops and restaurants. We went the first time on what was apparently the nice day in a couple of weeks. So, like White Rock, it was pretty busy. We also met up with Taryn's long lost friend from high school, Ingrid. It's always nice to meet up with old friends. As I found when we stopped and saw Kevin in Adelaide, good friends are always good friends and time and distance doesn't change that. Ingrid has been very thoughtful and tried to help us however she can. We have since decide to live near to Fremantle in a suburb called White Gum Valley. We have rented a small back yard room that has all the essentials and nothing you don't need. We moved in on the second night of a fifty year storm. We would have really preferred to have not spent that last night in the tent. We had to abandon the tent twice that night because we were afraid it was going to be damaged by the wind. At least the monsoon had stopped before the wind came up.
