Well, I had a glut of travel experiences to post today...that stuff adds up fast. I finally burned some more pics to a CD today...and I'm uploading them as I type.
I spent the day on the rocky beaches of Nice on the French Riviera today. Not a bad place to spend an afternoon! The way the beach is layed out, it reminded me of Ipanema in Rio, but with no sand or bikini tops. I guess you take the good with the bad.
Our 2-star hotel here in Nice is actually great, centrally located to the city, nightlife, and a 10-minute walk to the beach. It was nice today not having to hop onto any form of public transportation. I'm just living in my flip-flops today.
Ray and I bought a ton of groceries today, and chowed down on something healthy for a change. We self-imposed a McD's and pizza ban for the next few days; all that traveling, bad eating, and no exercise was starting to add up. We're gonna hit the town again tonight probably, then catch our train to Barcelona tomorrow.
