13th July and 14th July
Singapore Sightseeing then Homeward Bound
Fine 29 degrees Singapore

Fine and sunny 10 degrees on arrival at 6.00 am into Sydney

This morning after walking Tyler to preschool we caught the bus into the city to explore Little India. Steve showed us about all the different lanes, markets and shops as well as the Mosques and Temples.  There were colourful saris, interesting food markets, delicious cooking smells and a multi level shopping Centre.  Next we had a look at Sim Lim Square at the many levels of electrical stores.  We also had a look at Bugis Street, the largest street market in Singapore selling clothing, watches, shoes and souvenirs.  Back at the apartment we had lunch then re-packed our bags for the last time before having a final swim at the apartment pool.  We said our farewells then caught the taxi to the airport for the flight home on one of the new Airbus A380s.   We arrived at Sydney to a chilly 10 degrees and a warm welcome from Amanda.
