Santorini to Mykonos
Sunny 25 degrees
Our hotel owner gave us a lift back down to the port, no mean feat on these roads, to catch the Flying Cat 4 to Mykonos. It was a nice trip over calm waters passing other islands and briefly stopping at Eos and Paros to drop off passengers. We arrived at Mykonos and caught a taxi (after the Santorini experience) to our hotel. We looked at our room and then decided to pay a little extra for the sea view (magnificent). After a brief rest and a chat to our American neighbour we headed down to the town. Mykonos Town is a lovely village on a harbour with white rendered buildings built along a network of tiny lanes (with no names). The walls and the cement in the crazy stone paths are also painted white. There are many little churches and of course the famous Mykonos Windmills. It's very relaxed here and after having a nice dinner with the company of some Pink Pelicans we walked back up the hill to enjoy the view from our balcony and another beautiful sunset.

Thanks Kerry - lovely to see that stunning blue and white! Happy mother's day to you! Cool day - cleared to blue sky later - yesterday was a stunning day - a few of us gathered at the CDI at SIEC last night - very good Brett Parbery won freestyle deservedly. I did Ride-a-thon with my groups yesterday - start of a busy week!
