Well...It is so strange to be back in a big city, to take the metro and see so many cars and traffic jams around me! I am slowly getting prepared to be back in Paris ;-)
Chile's steady economic growth has transformed Santiago into one of Latin America's most modern metropolitan areas, with extensive suburban development, dozens of shopping centers, impressive high-rise architecture and has a very modern transport infrastructure, including the steadily growing underground Metro.
Santiago will also be my final stop in Chile :-( I didn't spend much time in this country but I will keep wonderful memories of the magic Atacama desert and my amazement of being back in a big metropolitan city (My friend Alexis can witness on this!)

Yes! They were pretty amazing better that what I usually see in Paris
