Well, today was a semi-productive day. Registered for my classes and didn't get into a few of them so now my schedule looks like (depending on my arabic entrance exam tomorrow) this: Comparative Religion, Islamic Art and Architecture, Contemporary World History, Colloquial Arabic, and Islamic Civilization. Pretty nice, only one class on MWF so I can travel on the weekend some. One of the West Point Cadets that are here I've made friends with wants to go to find motorcycles...down? Offfffffff course haha. I love this place. The inexpensiveness of living is staggering, the people are so friendly and the environment is simply breathtaking. We skipped a few orientation sessions to go to the marche today. It was dreadfully busy but saying Salaam to everyone I looked at was a warming feeling. We sat down at a restaurant and ordered shai but the waiter spoke French, misinterpreted us and brought us all plates of chicken.. oh well it was tantalizing nonetheless but we made sure to tell him en francais that we only wanted tea and he felt bad haha. Well here are some pictures of campus and walking around Ifrane! A demain everybody.
