St. John's NFLD, this place is like no other place I'd ever seen before. Of course, in all fairness, I'd never really gone anywhere and stayed for long. So, with a new set of luggage and a one-way ticket (thanks, mom) I headed out to NFLD.
What I encountered was a people who had the secret to living that the rest of the world has seem to forgotten. Good natured and generous only begins to describe the people of the East coast. The creative energy of St. John's is phenomenal. Everyone is an artist and skilled at something wondorous. Music pulses and electrifies the air down there, and if you don't play, you'd better know how to dance :)
The history of this place is wellknown, the beauty of the people as well. The moods of the Atlantic Ocean dictate the pace of life here and there is something tangible, be it humility or serenity, among the people.
