Where I stayed
We stayed at the Airport Game Lodge. It was really nice. We even had a mini heater in our room! Airport Game Lodge had a ton of animals, and Jess and I got to feed them! The animal that got closest was Izzy the ostrich. We fed her out of our hand! At first it was frightening to feed Izzy, because when I fed a ostrich before in a park in Virginia it was violently slamming its beak in my bucket. Izzy was very gentle. Sometimes she got our fingers, but it didn't hurt. Later we went to the Cradle of Humankind. It was the coolest thing ever! If you ever go to Kempton Park, you've got to go the the Cradle of Humankind. I learned that every single person, no matter what they look like, came from Africa. I also learned how we speak, hear, see, and other things. There were a ton of fun games to play also! After the museum we actually went down into the caves where the earliest human remains were found.
