Lake Manyara National Park looks like it is straight out of the Jungle Book! Everything is green and beautiful. I didn't get much pictures of it, and only the animals. Before going there, we went on a  cultural village tour. The little kids were so cute! They would just run up to us and grab our hands so that we would take a picture of them. When they saw their picture, all of them would just start giggling! I really liked the tour. We learned about different ways they made their houses. Some roofs could be made out of the leftover rice stalks, but most roofs were made out of banana tree leaves. I would have made my roof out of leftover rice stalks, because with the banana roofs, you have to switch them out every year so they don't leak. The actual house was made of sticks packed together with cow poop. I know, gross, right? They use it because the poop is waterproof. We also learned about the rice fields and wood carvings. We went and looked at some paintings, and I got to paint my own!  One of the people there taught me how to paint a elephant. All the kids were crowding around me when I was painting. We bought three paintings, then headed toward the jeep to go to Lake Manyara.
