Our priority that night was to look for a good Paella - we knew that Madrid is not famous for its Paella, but seeing we were in Spain.... we hunted around online for well-reviewed restaurants and ended up at a restaurant called 'La Paella de la Reina' (the Paella of the Queen!).
To start, we ordered Pulpo de Gallega. This is one of the dishes that we had prepared at cooking school in Sydney (but this one was soo much tastier; it was delicious!). We then had a traditional Valencian Paella with chicken, rabbit and all manner of vegetables. We washed it all down with a refreshing bottle of Cava (a spanish sparking wine not dissimilar to Champagne), and cheered to another successful trip overseas.
A tasty end to a very gastronomic trip!
