Where I stayed
There seems to be a temple around every corner in Kyoto.
Today, we walked along the south-eastern edge of Kyoto, enjoying temple after shrine after temple, with a few carefully designed Japanese gardens too.
The culinary delight for the day was a type of Japanese pancake full of all kinds of interesting seafood and other goodies, at a little restaurant with a menu that consists of one dish only.
Tomorrow, we're set to enjoy our second Michelin-starred splurge - and we will take some photos this time!
Hope all is well with you all,
Ash and Sophia
