Where I stayed
Hurtigruten Ship
Temp. -4°C
Today started as a very lazy day. Other than organising my suitcase and vacating my cabin, and eating breakfast and lunch. I think for the rest of this trip I will only eat a hearty breakfast and that's it. If I see another 3 course meal I'll scream.....or explode, whichever comes first. They really fed us well on the ship. I don't know if that is a way to keep passengers docile, maybe. I even skipped a couple of dinners including last night because I couldn't physically eat anymore.
The rest of the day was literally just cruising. Weather wise the last two days have been immaculate. Fine and sunny. The views have been absolutely beautiful. I gave up looking for orcas so my next obsession was spotting lighthouses. There are many, big and small.
The last part of the cruise definetely was smooth sailing. I think I could easily live the life of a sailor as after the first day I didn't feel sea sick again. But I would definetely need a job to do. I got very impatient just sitting doing nothing for hours. That's why I kept setting myself a task to find something in the environment. Plus I always had the internet access as back up to conquer boredom. You would have noticed that this blog has been very up to date compared to when I was in Helsinki.
We arrived in the port of Bergen at 2.30pm. My last destination for the cruise but not my trip. I still have another 9 or 10 days (I can't count) with Bergen, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki to go.

I'll say you've been packing it in on the blog writing! So much informative narrative (which is great). . . I thought you were going to test us on it later (teach)!!! ha ha ha
It will be a written & oral exam so start preparing.
I've written more because I've been able to use computers with keyboards rather than one finger typing on my tiny phone screen.
i know your blogging insane! i cant keep up! course a teacher has to write essays :P but good, i like hearing every detail, makes me feel like im there too.. ..instead of heatwaves in Australia, yay :|
I totally agree - I'm feeling like I'm there too (got my office curtain closed to keep out the warm day so the atmosphere is spot on). I just couldn't concentrate on keeping up with the blog while we were away on hols, so I'm just loving reading about your travels x
