Pretty lazy day spent mainly in bed. I know that sounds bad but I seriously needed to recover. Didn't make it back to the hotel until 4am. Woke at 11am, missed breakfast & really, really sore. Neck is stiff, back is sore, bruised arm & rib from where someone elbowed me. It was one rough concert last night.....I might be old but it was brilliant. Really painful headache but definetely not a hangover, couldn't be bothered drinking (really) because had fun without it.
Didn't bother eating all day because the sanctuary of the bed was too inviting & couldn't be bothered with going out to buy a meal.
This sounds like a really pathetic day but I seriously could not walk around without groaning in pain. I should take a photo of this massive bruise but it would only worry mum. I've been to many concerts and been in many squashy crowds but never like last night. This bruise and all the other aches and pains though were so worth it.
As I look out my hotel window, it's raining in Helsinki and the streets look quiet. No shops open. No sights needed to be seen. Really loving this comfortable hotel bed. Going to make the most of this luxurious room before I have to leave tomorrow.

also, do the beds have doonas like in the sound of music? ;)
No they are actually really thin but extremely warm. In most places I've not slept with anything because the heating is too warm.
