The Museum's exhibits reveal the unique influences and challenges that shaped George Bush’s life and presidency. The exhibits lead the visitor to an interactive walk through history’s textbooks with displays that explore the most important events of the 20th century from World War II through the Persian Gulf War. Original artifacts, film, photographs, documents, music, and interactive kiosks make the experience both entertaining and educational.
During his presidency, sweeping changes took place across the globe. The collapse of the Soviet Union, America’s archenemy for fifty years, heralded the spread of democracy and freedom in Eastern Europe. His excellent leadership provided stability during reunification of Germany, a country divided for fifty years during the Cold War. The success of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm confirmed President Bush as a sophisticated statesman, masterful diplomat, and a strong leader.
The large and close-knit family of George Bush will leave its mark on American History. Faith, family, friends and public service continue to be rock-solid values in his life. Inspiring others, President Bush lives his conviction that "any definition of a successful life must include service to others."
