This Memorial is a MUST see for every American. I don't believe any other National Monument is as touching as this one. Maybe it’s because it touched infants, toddlers, young and old who never had a chance to survive.
The Oklahoma City National Museum takes you on a chronological self-guided tour through the story of April 19, 1995 and the days, weeks, and years that followed the bombing of Oklahoma City’s Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The Mission Statement sums it best:
We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave hear know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.
