Millersburg, OH is located in Holmes County, home to the nation's largest Amish community. The Amish are known for their woodworking (especially furniture, cabinetry, gazebos, etc.), farming, cooking, quilts and crafts.
The Amish are hard working people and very devout Mennonites. Sunday is a day of rest and worship in Amish Country. All stores are closed and Amish spend the day in church.
We spent the week touring the countryside, attending flea markets, shopping, touring a cheese and chocolate factory, visting the largest hardware store in America - Lehman's, attending an Amish auction and visiting the most beautiful Lumber Company in America - Keim.
