Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon. On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 Lunar Module touched down on the surface of the moon. Aboard the modules were astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Shortly after, Armstrong spoke these words to Mission Control: "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." A third astronaut, Michael Collins circled the moon while Armstrong and Aldrin explored the moon surface.

This museum chronicles Ohio's contribution to the history of space flight. Among the items on display are a F5D Sky Launcher, The Gemini VIII spacecraft, Apollo 11 artifacts and a moon rock.
