This Museum is the world's largest and oldest military aviation museum. It holds more than 300 aircraft and missiles and over 6,000 historical items. It's about military aviation from the days of the Wright brothers to the latest in stealth technology.

The Museum complex contains IMAX theatre, restaurant, gift shop, aviation bookstore as well as three main museum buildings (Early years; Retreat in the Pacific/Cold War Gallery; Learning to fly in Space). In addition, the Museum includes a "Hall of Fame".

Adjacent to the Museum entrance is Memorial Park. This park contains over 200 memorials honoring individuals and organizations associated with the United States Air Force.
