Attended the 7pm show. Grand Old Opry is a live radio show with commercials after every song. There were more commercials than actual singing, In fact it was worse than watching TV. You must bqualify and be elected by a panel into the Grand Ole Opry. If so, you must make 20 appearances per year and are paid a flat fee of $350 each performance.
