Where I stayed
Park Beach Caravan Park
A relaxing day under beautiful sunny skies. I spent the early part of the morning going for a ride heading west through quiet country roads out to Coramba before returning home and joining the family for a visit to the Pet Purpoise centre in Coffs Harbour.
An interactive experience, we all got to touch the seals and dolphins and feed the penguins, as well as see the obligatory performing dolphins and seals.
With the morning drawing to a close we returned to the van for a bit of lunch and a sleep for me followed by a sleep for Wendy, her book held open in front of her face.
The afternoon was spent lazing about the lush and spacious caravan park and wandering along the beach while the children entertained a group of younger kids on the grass outside our van.

Oh dear! That doesn't sound like the platter I enjoyed at all. A few years ago (before the new la-di-da management) it was three tiers of soft-shell crab, oysters in the one and only true format: natural, prawns, scallops, calamari, and yes there was fish. The only fried component was was a token corner of thick cut chips. Instead there was a leaf salad and fresh tropical fruits. You knew it was fresh local stuff because fishy-smelling blokes in gumboots kept walking through buckets of freshly caught goodies. And it was $65! My only complaint was that it took 2 weeks to get my wallet back when I left it on the table and kept driving down to Sydney. The search for a good platter continues. I'm told the coast of Mozambique is good...
Hi Mitchell, have been missing you at school can't wait for you to get back. I will be at the Gold Coast when you get back so will catch up with you when I get back on the 24th September. Joshua
Hi Courtney,
You are so lucky that you missed almost a term of school. School is so boring. I won't be there when you get back (cry, cry) but I will be at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. Really hope we can catch up when I get back.
Monique
PS. Be ready for cold weather because its freezing.
