This is Graham writing here (except the brackets which is me) --

So our flight form Vancouver to Hong Kong was fiftenn hours and god damn awful, legs crammped, knees killed, super lame. But they did have a shit ton of inflight movies and personal tv's to watch them on so i got lots of watching in. Did not sleep for 24 hours though and between that and the intense tv watching my eyes were pretty blood shot and hurty. We got to hong kong after the long flight, had two hours in the airport there to swtich planes and walk around non stop stretching. Our flight from hong kong to Bangkok was only 2 and a half hours and was pretty decent. (the airplanes were super pretty -- they had purple, pink and orange seats, which of course was my favorite part)

We got to Bangkok around midnight, found a cab and got to our hotel around one. Which was like 9 in the morning there so kinda hard to sleep but we got a couple hours.

FIrst day in Bangkok yesterday was pretty aweosme. Did a ton of activities and got really tired and really ripped off and learned alot all in one. We started off by taking a cab to the canal where we payed way to much (35 dollars each) for a one hour canal ride on our own personal sketchy boat. That took us down the river to the Grand Palace a nice tourist spot. Turns out on sunday its not open till 2. so we were early. Some random thai dude started talking to us, shook our hands became our friends and set us up with a tuk tuk (sketchy ass motorcycle type taxis) to take us around town. He told the driver we were his friends, told her to take care of us, showered her a map we had and told her to take us to 4 or 5 nice places...so basicaly our own personal chauffeur for the whoooooping price of only 40 baht (one dollar and fifty cents canadian) haha. So the girl took us a to a couple sites, stood outside while we did our thing everytime and waited for us.

One place she took us was aweosme. It was a DRO, the domestic reservation office, where we planned out our next 14 days, booked a two day one night tour for tommorow, we get to ride a sketchy dead man train, go the tiger temple, some old museums and we get to sleep on a floating hostel. Than after that we get dropped off at the train station in bangkok and we take a 12 hour train to Chiang Mai (northern Thailand). the train is over night so we got beds on there and it will be rad. Than we get to Shang Mai, and we have a hostel booked, we stay there two days and than leave for a 3 day 2 night jungle trek where we will ride elephants, bamboo rafts, stay in small villages, shower under waterfals and poop in teh woods. Should be aweomse. all meals included, guides, all the works. Than we come back to Chiang Mai and back to our already booked hostel. OHHHHH i forgot before our Jungle Trek while we are in Chiang Mai we are also doing a day trip to the Gibbon Experience, Gibbons are monkeys and its a jungle canopy trek with zip lines and monkeys and cool ass things. So thats before our 3 day jungle trek.

After the trek we are back to Chiang Mai, we have our hostel booked, stay for another two days doiong our own thing. Than we get on a boat and start a 3 day boat ride to Laos. Have to cross the border get to stay in hostels or something somehwere, its all booked already.

SO yeah thats a rough sketch of our next 14 days. ITs all been paid for and booked, all the tours and treks and hostels and boats and trains, and pretty much every meal is provided and guess how much all that costed????? Everything booked and paid for already, all the meals pretty much all the fun shit, it came down to another whooopppinnnggggggg 483 dollars Canadian each. So pretty dang good if you ask me for treks and trains and all that shit.

So yeah, just at the hotel now, its 8 AM here, been us since 4 Am, went to bed at like 8 30 PM last night we were beat after our big bangkok day, so over the city already. So were just gonna chill today at the pool, read some books, maybe little laundry and get ready for our big 14 days all planned all sweet starting tommmorow at 630AM

(Thats all for now. Ill post again when we get to Chiang Mai probably. Hope its not too cold for you there!)

Love Susan and Graham
