When I arrived in Berlin it was amazing how fast I got through the airport. The customs and baggage claim were right at the gate and for that gate only. As soon as I got my bag and walked out Katja was standing there. So amazing.
So the first thing I did of course was have a curry wurst. Very nice. And changed some money. The euro was1.48 in Amsterdam but we found a change place that was only 1.38. So not too bad.
We saw the church that was bombed during the war but it started to get cold so we couldnīt stay there long.(this keyboard is a little trippy because Iīm quickly approaching incoherent and there are different letters andsymbols in different places especiallz the "Y" and "Z". The computer is marking every word for a spell check because itīs a german computer. Never thought of that.
Florian took me to a nice park in the snow. It was nice. There was a huge palace there. He told me that Potsdam has a number of world heritage sites.
One scare occured when I couldnīt find the power cord for the laptop and I thought I had looked everywhere. We were getting ready to go to the store to buy a new one and I found it in a hidden pocket in my backpack.Very happy.
It has been so nice hanging out with Katja and Florian and Jette because it is so comfortable without being dull or lifeless. Florian has a good sense of humor and Katja is so easy to talk to. Always smiling.
They are helping me to airport in the morning and I am hoping that it will not be any trouble.
today snow and curry wurst tomorrow 85 degrees and....no wurst
