We have a great place to stay and we are exploring the local beaches. This is where we have to point out that these are not beaches like we know and love. What they call a beach here may be just a small expanse of rock and most spots are very pebbly at best. We have learned that this is why when you hear of a beach such as Patara it is a big deal...because there they have about 20 kms of actual sand! Boy...will we ever appreciate the beaches at home that much more.
Having said that...we are still enjoying exploring the Mediterranean coast and love Kaš as a base for doing so.
