We are in sunny Chicago, Reason for the trip: get visas!  Side items:  An overnight getaway with our friends and neighbors, the Gardners (it just happens to be Kirby's 12th birthday!), American girl store, Chicago pizza, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and whatever else we can do to live up our last days in the states. Who knew there was a Smith Museum, and that Alexander would have NOOO problem staying up until 10pm with the time change?!?
