Monday, my second to last day at sea... still in the tropics and very warm.
I woke around 9 AM and headed off for my last spa treatment, a full-body massage. After a late breakfast I went to arts & crafts where I made a bracelet. I decided to give up on bingo and tried my luck in the casino slot machines. You can guess how that went... loser!
At mid-day I sat in the coffee shop to chat with our cruise director (Michael). There were several other cruisers there and we chatted about tours in the ports of call and other memorable moments from the cruise. After about thirty minutes the comedian from Sunday night joined us and we talked with him as well. He lives in LA, works 3 days on cruise ships each week, and spends the rest of his week working in television. He has his own production company, has written for tv shows, and currently creates tv shows which he sells to the networks. Very interesting!
I attended a towel folding seminar yesterday to learn how to make the towel animals. Last night was our final formal dinner. We attended the final song/dance show in the evening. And then the comedian's show at midnight.
I'm just about out of minutes... so this is my final posting. I'll check in again from San Diego on Wednesday.
