Some fellow cruisers had booked a private tour with http://grenadasunsation.com/ and we joined in. The guide, Ian, a UK transplanted to the island is a human encyclopedia of the island and its nature. After St. George's Market (the most truly local place in all the islands), he took us on an 8-hour tour of the hurricane-battered island, stopping at a Spice factory, River Antoine Rum Distillery, Grand Etang National Park and finishing with a brief dip in Grand Anse Beach. The tour was highly educational and we liked it although we missed some parts, as the island is too big to see in one day.
